I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again, this was one of the best unscripted trips I’ve ever been on. Now that I think about it more, probably the only unscripted trip that I dare to take part of. I might venture into again only because this one was so great.

I took this shot from the same perch I was sitting on when Collin stuck that 3 in front of my face for the cover shot. A few passes by, he would do a 3, land, then cut back and slaysh almost directly underneath me. Not really on purpose however. It was partly due to Collin trying to avoid hitting the concrete pillar I was standing on. The one that holds up the bridge over my head….yeah, not small.

On one of the first passes, Collin ran the same line but I wasn’t ready for it. Heel 3, land, cutback toward wake, then slaysh a bucket just before the bridge shadow hit him. After witnessing the first one with my own eyes and not through the lens, I thought, “damn, that looked sick, he’s gotta do that again…a few more times. Maybe this next time I’ll be ready.”
