Our Irish friend Garvin owns a barber shop in Enniskillen, Ireland. Dano, Ike, Watkins and myself, were there participating in Wake Jam, an event that went down last July.
We were there for three or four days talking about getting a shave the old school way with just the ol’ open blade technique. Turns out, we never got the chance until the last night, after a huge dinner, at two or three in the morning. Dano went first while Watkins and myself drank some wine waiting our turn. A few glasses later and a dull blade in hand, Dano’s facial hair was successfully removed, managed, and hand sewn into an original piece of carpet that now sits on top of his mantel. Ok, I made that last part up.
There is really no point to this story other than it was two or three in the morning. What, you didn’t get that out of reading the poetic paragraph of letters and words?
