Hahahaa… oh my. I laugh every time I see this pic. I got a text message from Shane about his birthday party saying, “Tubes, Boobs, and Beer on Clear. April 4th, Shane turns 23…this is how we do it.”
Because I was there for his b-day party the year before, I knew ahead of time the type of chaos that what I was getting myself into. I arrived early, partied for a bit out in the lake, then hitched an early ride into the dock so I could set up some lights for this shot.
I wanted to get a “bday photo” right at sun down but getting that many wasted people motivated to move all at once was like pushing dead weight up hill. This is only HALF the amount of people that were there. The other half was still out in the lake partying…including Parks. To this day, he still hassles me about not being in the pic.
